Greetings to DHMS Rising 6th Grade Families,

We are excited to welcome you to the Druid Hills community!
Due to ongoing restrictions, the introductory "Camp Dragon" experience has been revised and moved to the week before school starts.
We are inviting 6th graders and parents to come for a 2-hour orientation:
Wednesday July 28, 2021
Students will have an opportunity to meet teachers and learn first-hand about the building... yes, even opening lockers!
Parents and guardians will have an orientation opportunity led by the DHMS staff and our PTA.
This orientation will coincide with a school-wide Open House, where you can learn about clubs and other extracurricular activities.

We look forward to seeing you all as we prepare to begin the 2021-22 year with YOU, our newest Dragons!

See you in July!

All library books are now due and should be returned to the DHMS Library. They can be returned to the library in person or dropped in the Book Return bin in front of school. There are still many books from the 2019-2020 school year that have not been returned. If you have books from any DCSD school, you can return them to the DHMS Library and they will get to the correct location. Parents and students can check their email for overdue notices. Thank you for helping us get our books back after an unprecedented year. If you have questions, please contact Ms. Kochel
