Do you like technology? Do you like teaching people new things? Do you want to learn job skills? Do you want to be an ambassador for the DHMS library? The Library and Technology Leaders ELT Class may be right for you. We are looking for current 6th and 7th graders who want to be part of a leadership team next year. Here are some of the things this class will do.

• Staff the Library during ELT by shelving books, serving as greeters, checking out books, and managing creative space activities
• Encourage reading by making presentations and posters
• Teach 6th graders new technology skills
• Learn and teach all kinds of technology skills
• Assist students in the library’s Virtual Reality Studio and with 3D Printers
• Create posters and marketing materials

We are looking for students who want to learn real-life job skills and who are self-directed (that means you can work independently without someone always telling you what to do and that you can see what needs to be done and do it). Use this Google Form to apply. Deadline isF Friday, March 13.
