Library Book Clubs
The DHMS Library has lots of book clubs to choose from. Our lunch time book clubs are having informational meetings the week of Aug. 29. Our after school book club will meet every Wednesday from 4-5 p.m. beginning on Sept. 7 and is open to all students. Please see our Book Club website for more details and join us in a book club. 
Chromebook User Agreement
Chromebooks are being distributed now. We need all families to sign the Digital Dreamers user agreement as soon as possible. For languages other than English, click here, hover over the word "Chromebook" in section 2.

Dragon Quill Literary Magazine
Do you love to write or create unique works of art? If so, then the 2022-2023 Dragon Quill needs you!  All submissions must be newly created, original, and sent as an email attachment (or shared) with Mrs. Shawn Mitchell, Academic Coach. Our 1st semester deadline is Mon., Dec. 5, and you may submit work at any time from now until then at [email protected]

Summer Reading


Dragons who will attend DHMS in the 2022-2023 school year will receive a bag of summer reading books to keep! All rising 6th, 7th and 8th graders should read at least 2 books this summer. All the details can be found on our Summer Reading website
